Configure Imageshop front page /interface(s)

You can customize the front page of each interface that you have in Imageshop, so that it fits your profile and websites. You can change the logo, favicon, banner image and color palette used in the individual page template.

You can choose from different templates:

For example. this template (Vestland County) with categories as gateway to the search page (https://vestland.imageshop.no/)

This template (Copenhagen Admiral Hotel) with banner image and categories for navigation below (https://copenhagenadmiralhotel.imageshop.no/)

or this template with banner images and various albums at the bottom (https://deichman.imageshop.no/)

If you have chosen to show categories on the front page, you can also decide which categories should be visible. See information on how to choose or change categories here.

How to select and configure front page template for the interface:

Go to "Settings" --> "Cover Template"
Select the interface that you want to configure from the top drop-down menu
Choose the type of cover template (see explanation for the different templates at the top of the page)
If you want an interface without a front page, switch on "Do not show front page"
Choose from which category trees you would like to display categories
If your chosen page template allows you to display recently added files, then select the interval you want.
Press save and to see the updated template, feel free to choose to go to "Publishing", as you will be suggested.

To enable categories for your front page:

When you configured the interface in the previous section, you chose which category trees you want to display categories from. Only categories that have an image attached to them will appear. You put pictures by category in the administration under "Edit", "Categories". Read how to do it here.
