Approval of uploaded files

If a standard user has uploaded files using the user interface, these have to be approved by an editor or administrator. Front-end uplaod is an addittional module where all users can upload files, without the need to give them administrator rights. Please contact support@imageshop.no for more information about this module. 

You can activate notification by e-mail so that you are notified when a standard user has uploaded files that need to be approved. It is done in Admin (your name in the right corner -> configuration -> Editor).

- Go to "Upload" > "Uploads". There you can see all files waiting to be addproved.

- Click on the files to check that there is good information linked to the file. You can edit the information by clicking "Edit Page" under "Editor Section"

- You can also approve or delete the one image you are interested in under the "Editor section"

You can effectively check that good information is attached to all the files by using "Show key information" and / or "Show detailed information" under "Display options" in the upper right corner.

Approve / Delete multiple files at the same time:

- Go to "Upload"> "Uploads".

- Click on one image and drag the cursor to mark the files you want to approve. (Or hold Ctrl and click on each image). 

- You can choose "select all" if you want to approve/delete all files. 

- Click "Approve" or "Reject and remove all".

- Select for which interface the files should be available, and click "Approve". The files will now be published and available for the interface(s) selected.
